Default flight from Europe to Jayapura?

Hi, I look for a cheap flight from Europe to Jayapura.
I know the best option is Garuda.
But I don't like to flight with Garuda because it stops in Jakarta and
I know Jakarta.
I'd like to stop in Bangkok and therefore I'd like to take another
flight.
But I know if I don't take Garuda I cannot buy the ticket from Bangkok
to Jayapura. I'd like to buy the round ticket in Europe
(Rome-Bangkok-Jayapura).
Can you give me some info, please?

bye Adriano

You probably can access Jayapura from Niugini. Qantas would get you to Port
Moresby from either Europe or Bangkok- then either Garuda or Air Niugini
from there.

Caveat!!!
New Guinea can be a dangerous place.

You probably need to go via Makassar in Sulawesi. Once upon a time there
were flights from Singapore to Makassar. I will be amazed if you can fly
direct to Jayapura from outside of the country, (apart from a local flight
from PNG).

Selamat Jalan.

Qantas flies from Rome and other European airports. Qantas is NOT a
cheap/discount airline.

Fly Garuda, through Jakarta if you want either cheap or easy. No other
airline or combination will be as cheap, nor as easy!!! Garuda is the
Indonesian National airline, and their principal hub is Jakarta. Denpasar
(Bali) would also provide connections to Jayapura; and could probably be
accessed through Malaysian Airlines from Europe.

Get onto a flight search engine!!!
