Default Sudanese visa in asuan?

does anyone know if it's possible to get Sudanese visa in the consulate in
Asuan (Egipt)?
extra question: do they work on sunday?

Generally speaking, Sunday is not a special day in Muslim countries.

It is possible, I know someone who got one in just a few hours from Aswan.
Having said that, if you're going to Cairo I'd get one there instead. It
might be less hassle and at least you'll have plenty to do during the wait.

It was some 30 years ago when we hitchhiked from Cairo to Assuan. We did
not have a Sudanese visa when we tried to board the ferry boat to Wadi
Halfa. They refused to let us aboard - and **** there was n o Sudanese
consulate in Assuan, so we had to go back all the way to Cairo. In Cairo
on the Sudanese Embassy they first wanted to see the Ethiopian visa before we finally received the Sudanese visa, what a hassle. And then
up the Nile again.
