Default Pre Paid Calling Crads

Can I get one pre-paid phone card that will enable me to call from
France,England and Italy to anywhere in the world,or do I need a
separate card for each country? The only cards I have found can only
be used for calling from the U.S.
Thanks..

There certainly seem to be such cards. For example, try:

http://www.nobelcom.com

The rates are pretty good. Not as good as buying a local calling card,
but that said, I usually find when I buy a local card, I don't use all
the credit. Check the fine print though- for example, many of them
expire somewhat prematurely.

AT&T and MCI prepaid cards allow calls to and from just about
anywhere. Of the two, the MCI card tends to have better rates when
calling from abroad.

Someone else mentioned the Nobel card. It looks like a good deal but
keep in mind that it has a $0.69 per week "maintenance fee" and
expires in 6 months. That's not a concern if you plan to use nearly
the whole balance in a short period; in my case I use these cards on a
few trips per year, so the maintenance fee and time limit would eat up
most of the balance. As always the best deal will depend on your
intended usage.

richard,

I got the MCI prepaid card at Costco. It's 2.98 cents/min for domestic
calls in the US and I know that to Italy from the US it's .13/min and
from Italy to US .20/min - call the 800# to find out rates for others.

I gotta say, those international rates are not too hot.
