Default Surviving an 8 story fall? We Got a 9 Story Fall!

HAMILTON – A young boy is in a Hamilton hospital after falling from a
ninth-floor apartment balcony.

Residents say the boy – aged about three or four – fell at about 10
a.m., although it's not clear if he went through a window or plunged
from a balcony.

Neighbors say the youngster appeared to be conscious and crying after
landing on a grassy courtyard.

Witnesses say his frantic mother picked him up and dashed to a nearby
convenience store – possibly where family or friends may have been
working – and called for help.

Emergency crews whisked the child to hospital, where he is reported to
be suffering from multiple broken bones and other injuries.
