Default Hurricane Frances What about ships coming in this weekend?

My friend went on a Royal cruise out of Port Everglades. I forgot what ship,
but I thought he said he was coming back Saturday. What is going to happen?

Your friend may get a few extra days on the cruise. The port closed today.
Many ships are now not returning until Monday.

Yes, and those who were scheduled to leave on 7 night cruises this weekend will
find themselves on 5 night cruises instead. They will be compensated with 50%
refunds and onboard credits.

As we have said for years `and years on this NG, if you're booking a cruise in
Aug-Sept-Oct-Nov you will get a good rate to begin with, but you have to be
flexible. (Trying to reason with hurricane season).

He will probably remember the name of the ship and tell you.
