Default Hotel Tryp Macarena in Sevilla

Hello, does anybody know if this hotel is OK? It seems to be not too
far from downtown.
Any advice about sevilla would be welcome (what to see, must do and so
on).

....go during 'festival' time in May! See a bullfight if you're so
inclined... Take a river cruise...

So far as accommodations go I can only comment on a nice little hostel
right in the old section; not apparently what you want.

Actually April is the Feria time. This year you have the religious
processions during Holy Week that attract many thousands. And then 2 weeks
after Easter is the Feria Week. This year it is from 25th April. Am not sure
if it is my favourite feria as most of the booths are only open to invitees.
But it a nice time of the year - no doubt - but the hoteliers rip off the
tourists !
May is fabulous. getting nice and hot during the day. You can roam the
streets at night and be warm ! TRY is part of SOL MELIA chain who are very
well managed. TRY is normally a business man's type hotel in my experience
but clean and modern. No personal experience but if the rate is good then
why not.
Look at www.exploreseville.com for good knowledge about the city.

You must have had a great time in A'dam. Did you go to a bull fight there?

Tryp are a pretty good group, should be fine
my short notes "http://www.fell-walker.co.uk/andalus.htm#sevilla"

San Gill was very noisy if you had a road front room. I like Casa
de la Juderia.
