When to buy tickets for Toronto to Delhi?

Toronto to New Delhi
Return Ticket (FEB 28 - MAR 21 2009)
3 adults, 1 child
NOT VERY FLEXIBLE, looking for lowest price, prefer British Airways,
KLM, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Virgin Atlantic or Swiss Air

Should I buy now from a travel agent or do you think they will get
cheaper if I buy in around January? Everything online seems very
expensive (e.g. $1600 CDN for 1 person)

I found one from a local travel agent for $1325 CDN ( for 1 adult - BA)
so do you think they will get cheaper by Jan. b/c I don't want to
purchase just yet I really would like to wait till Jan. if they'll be
cheap then.

Please help???

A cheap fare in January will do you no good if there's no availability.
My short answer is to buy now. But it's you who must weigh the dominant
factor. Price or scheduling.
