The ones that have stayed in business.

There are plenty of airlines in business that haven't covered costs in
recent years. So, can you be more descriptive of the ones you are

As long as they are in business, it's hard to say how they stay in business
without a careful financial analysis--but they surely are covering their
costs, be it through ticket revenue, the deep pockets of the owner, or
increasing debt.

Of ocurse, this isn't what your prior response said.
You said "they can travel with another airline that charges enough to
cover its costs. There are no free lunches. "

You made no mention of anything unrelated to ticket pricing.

The higher the ticket price, the more likely that the airline is able to cover
its costs through ticket revenue alone.

They have all covered their costs, but not necessarily with ticket revenue.
Most creditors will not wait years for payment of a bill.
