Trip to India from Toronto or Winnipeg

Any ideas about cheapest airfare from Winnipeg to New Delhi. I can also
travel from Toronto It is party of 6.

Air Canada started direct non-stop service Toronto-New Delhi late last year.
The mother of a friend recently bought a return ticket for under $1700, all
taxes included, from one of the Indian travel agencies. This was several
hundreds less than the AC fare I could find on any internet site, or from
ACs website.
One good feature is that it allows one, no fee change in the return date.
This service must be getting good load factors because I have not seen it on
any of ACs discount pages, unlike their South American service. And his
mother had few available dates to chose from in the six weeks after she had
decided to travel.
You need to deal with one of the Indian community travel agencies which book
lots of these tickets. They can probably provide a very low cost AC
Winnipeg to Toronto flight, as part of a Winnipeg-New Delhi ticket.
Other airlines, such as Aeroflot, Air France, KLM, Lufthansa are usually
price competitive, but involve anything from a 3 to 12 hour waste of time in
whichever European airport you change planes. You also avoid any visa
problems.
