Morocco - new remote Atlas lodge

For those of you off to Morocco after the end of March and
trekking in the Atlas around Imlil theres the first "Toubkal
Lodge" - new remote accomodation - being opened in the village
of Id Issa in the Azzaden valley.

This new lodge is a more comfortable alternative to staying in
village houses or camping and is built in co-operation with
and will help fund the local village association which carries
out community projects in the area, (the hammam and Land Rover
ambulance in Imlil are great examples of how this type of self
help scheme can work).
