I'll agree with you on the nice beaches, but shopping malls can get a
bit hectic. I try to avoid them between Thanksgiving and New Years.

Probably northern California to Seattle (lots of rain, tho)

And Honolulu is a bit warmer than the Windward side of the island or Mililani
