Explore/Guerba/exodus travel companies
In article , Stewart Devereux
writes Hope to do the whole peru/Amazonholiday this Summer from the Uk. All the above companies seem to do very similar small group tours at similar prices. Anybody have any good/bad experiences of any of them. Yes I've travelled with Explore, in Asia. They are a tad more expensive than other companies, and as a result they tend to draw people in their 30s rather than 20s which is no bad thing. I recommended them to a friend who did their Mexico tour and he and his wife were also pleased. Explore have been going for what? 15-20 years? They are a very professional outfit and have some very imaginative tours. Their brochure also rates the tours in terms of 'hardship' (eg a climbing expedition of Kilimanjaro is rated more strenuous than a sailing tour of the Greek islands). -- JohnM Author of Brazil: Life, Blood, Soul http://www.scroll.demon.co.uk/spaver.htm |
