I think that was the pitch during "more room" IMO today's 757 pitch
is about the same as Southwest's - 32-33" People have posted URLs
that claim less, but my knees know ;-))

well I did get a whole row to myself.
16 people in about 160 seats in the back section of economy.

The actual seat pitch was 33inches :-) - Transatlantic.

Perhaps the answer is that my AA 757 flights were to and within the
Caribbean. I'd thought those aircraft had their pitch shrunk ... but
perhaps not as much.
