Only because to date people have not posted such things there. It certainly
wouldn't be outside the charter of the group to post such things.

This is a moderated text newsgroup providing a forum for the discussions of
the worldwide commercial airline industry. These discussions would include,
but are not limited to:

Aircraft manufacturers, Airports, Airlines, Reservation systems, Travel
agencies and others which are a part of the airline industry.

Industry consolidation, bankruptcies, paradigm changes at airlines such as low
cost carriers, hubbing vs point-to-point service etc.

Security policies, government regulations and international agreements and
their impact on the industry and passengers.

Discussion of airline industry management, including financial performance,
fleet planning, marketing, human resources, competition etc.

Passenger relationship and experiences with airlines and airports, and how
industry changes are noticed/felt by passengers.

All aspects of commercial aviation operations are welcome, from small to large
airlines. Contributions from passengers as well as industry insiders are
welcome.

Yes, I know. I personally rate it as one of the most valuable usenet
forums on aviation thanks to the great job the moderators do on keeping the
drivel from the likes of Chilly8 out of it AND the caliber of the
contributions by just about all the regulars.
