Default Apartment in Madrid

Has anyone rented an apartment in Madrid for a short stay? I'm looking for
an apartment centrally located for one week. Thanks.

We stayed he http://www.atprincipe11.com/ and liked it a lot.

There is a bodega across the street, so ask for an apartment at the
back; failing that, the higher, the better.

Thanks. I'll check it out. By the way, in what part of Madrid is it
located?

hello from Madrid.

The aparment recomended are situated exactly in the midle of Madrid.
Near of them are a lot of theatres, cinema, museums, shops, Bodegas,
caf=E9s, Pubs, discos...and so on(i dont know what are you looking for
exactly). The apartments are situated in the oldest Madrid.

anyway, enjoy your week.

It's a half block from the Plaza de Santa Ana, and a couple of blocks from
the Puerto del Sol. If you put the address into www.mappy.com you will get
a map of the location.

I've stayed there too, and liked it.

Isn't that a coincidence!

One can get very good advice in r.t.e., as I did.

Unfortunately, they're all booked up for the dates that we'll be in Madrid.
It looked perfect for us. Thanks for the tip. If you know of any other
places, let me know. If you have any good places to eat, I'd appreciate
that, too.

The excellent Argentinian Steak Restaurant La Carreta in Chueca was closed
for refurbishment when we were last there, hopefully they are now open.
