Default Princess changing toiletries?

I read somewhere that Princess is going to change to real bottles for
shampoo, conditioner, etc. instead of the cheap little cardboard
packets. Does anyone know if this has happened?

I just bring my own Key West Aloe or Aveda products. Whatever the
cruise line is supplying was purchased en mass for the lowest price.
Whatever it is, can't be very good.

They still had cheap little plastic packets at the
beginning of October on the Island Princess.

I can remember when the switched from the little plastic bottles to
cardboard to save the environment. I think I read somewhere that it only
applies to elite status- I might be wrong.

WHen we were no there last year we had bottles of good stuff SPa stuff
we were in a mini suite. I always take my own but I will say they had
good things not the trash stuff. Alot of the hotels also have changed
to better stuff I beleive it is th Sheraton that has bath and Body
works

On our most recent cruise (August 28 on the Crown Princess) we had plastic
bottles due to our Elite status. Our daughter in the next cabin still had
the cardboard packages. I believe that suites also get the bottles
regardless of status.

It doesn't matter much to me. I never minded opening and using the
cardboard packages. And I'd rather use the bar soap than the body wash they
provided.

We just returned from the Dawn Princess Mexican Riviera cruise on Sunday and
we had cardboard "bottles" in our bathroom.
