Default Driving from Bar Harbor to Ottawa

Hello,

In about three weeks I will be driving from Bar Harbor, Maine, to
Ottawa, Canada. One of the routes I am considering takes 27 to the
border and connects with 212 on the other side. This, then, goes to
Sherbrooke, where you pick up the highway to Montreal, where you pick
up the highway to Ottawa. Has anyone taken this route? How long a
drive is it (without excessive speeding)? Any other comments for or
against using it? Thanks in advance.
