We are visiting Domonica on the Canival Destiny during the April 30th
sailing. Domonica looks like a nice place to visit. Anyone have a
suggestion on what to see or do on the island?

Any info is appreciated.

thanx

Frank

Dominica is a beautiful island and shows in its towering, green
mountainous peaks, deep river gorges and spectacular waterfalls, all
integral parts of any shore excursion in this lovely island. Hike to a
volcanic crater lake some 2,500 feet above the blue Caribbean, try
whale and dolphin watching tours on a catamaran, or pilot a rowboat
down a rushing river. You can imitate Tarzan on the Zip Line Canopy
Challenge, or do a less strenuous version of the same tour comfortably
seated in an aerial tram 300 feet above the rainforest floor. There are
rivers for tubing and kayaking, and leisurely wellness experiences such
as the warmth of Sulfur Springs, and the soothing, therapeutic mud
baths and natural springs at Wotten Woven. Waterfalls - Trafalgar
Falls, among the most recognizable, are famous for plunge pools below
their towering cascades. ATV and horse back riding shore excursions in
the rain forest will allow you to see Dominica's beauty up close.
Historic Fort Shirley, a British military outpost, the colorful and
fragrant Botanical Gardens and snorkeling the unique, inviting bubbles
of Champagne Reef all provide added dimensions to this wonderful
Dominica experience. An excellent website to check out is
