Default Lots of **** seems to happen in Sharm el-Sheik...

Remember that plane crash in 2004?

I'm still waiting for the white-washed final report.

http://observer.guardian.co.uk/europ...115915,00.html

"there were reports that one of the doomed passengers on the flight
from Egypt's holiday resort of Sharm el-Sheik, had called her nephew
on a mobile phone as the plane went down. Fatima Hjiaj, a 47-year-old
mother of five, called Mohammed Hjiaj in Paris. 'She said "something's
happening to the flight" then there were screams from the air hostess
standing next to her and the line cut,' he said."

"The Sharm el-Sheikh air disaster recalls the last Egyptian air
disaster in 1999 when EgyptAir's 990 Boeing 767 crashed opposite the
American coast of Massachusetts shortly after takeoff, killing all 217
aboard. US aviation authorities established that the co-pilot, Jamil
Batouty, who was not supposed to be on duty at the time, took over the
controls and put the plane into a sharp nosedive shouting Allah is
Great! in Arabic."

"ALLAH AKBAR is the cry of Islam - their satan god they yell just
before they kill themselves and innocent others. ALLAH AKBAR means
their devil god is greater than our GOD, JEHOVAH. False, and fatal."

"In the search for clues from the wreckage, France handled the
underwater recovery while the Egyptians collected surface debris. Both
the FDR & CVR were recovered, although the CVR was said to be in poor
condition." (how convienent).

"The preliminary accident report is available for download from the
Egyptian Aviation Authority at
Http://www.civilaviation.gov.eg/flash.pdf . Be warned the file is 10Mb
and it is a slow server!"

(that link doesn't seem to be working)

"The French BEA have published a real-time video animation of the
flight at http://www.bea-fr.org/francais/actua...arm/video2.htm it
is 9.5Mb."

(This link does work and it's a cool computer simulation of the
flight. It looks like someone inside the plane was attempting a sharp
bank to the right (which would head the plane toward the beach/hotel
area) but the plane went into a side-ways dive and it seemed it was
correcting itself by the time it hit the water.)

"British prime minister Tony Blair was vacationing at the Sharm
el-Sheikh resort with his family. From the moment the disaster was
reported, no word was released about their whereabouts."
