Far too hot. I fear that sunglasses, baseball cap and an ice-cold beer
in front of some café is called for this afternoon.

Generally, during this current warm period, the temperatures in
the North of France have been higher than in the south. Of course
this is not true during the hotter months of July and August;

The prior hottest April 24th on record is 26°3 in 1909.
However the hottest April day on record is 30°1 in 1949.

We will see at the end of the month what the overall average was
in comparison with the past. However the general reporting is
that this winter, now over, was the warmest on record in Europe.

The big question is if it is 28°C in April, what will summer have
in store for us? Another 2003?
