I am sure the government reports how many are issued per year. They are good for 10 years, less maybe 6 months or more, since people renew in advance and some countries want 6 months left on them before admitting you. Additionally, child passports are valid for only 5 years. But, I am sure the government would give the numbers for both. Perhaps Groogie can give us a cite? |

According to the American Travel Survey last conducted by the US Census in
