Default Navigator of the Seas - My Thoughts

Sounds like a very cool place! If we ever sail the Navigator, we will
have to check it out. We are not much for the disco scene, you wouldn't
want to see kevin dancing(grin).

Not sure about that Sue. I like to see most people dancing and, I don't
think Kevin would be an exception.

Also since I have CFS, I use all my
energy during the day and by the time the disco is hoping, I am ready
for sleep.

sue

Sorry Sue, Eileen has had CFS since 1991 (and so much more **** that has
followed). It actually started the day after one of our most memorable
nights in a disco. We were in Paris, dancing at one of the coolest
clubs in the world. It's call La Scala; and it's on the Rue de Rivoli,
not far from the Louvre. We left the club at 5:00 am (it doesn't even
open until 11:00 PM), and walked all the way back to our hotel on the
Ave de la Grande Armee (oh how I wish I could take this walk with her
again).
The next day (actually the same day) was Juillet Quatorze (Bastille
Day), and we were awoken at noon by a huge parade that had gathered on
the streets below our hotel. Eileen was, literally, unable to get out
or bed, so I went off to see the parade by myself. That was the start of
many changes in our life, including our choice of cruising as a vacation
we could both enjoy together.
Although it's getting tougher and tougher for Eileen to handle these
days, she will often dope herself up and get out there on the dance
floor with me. This is one of the many reasons that she has always been,
and will always be, the great Love of my life.

Howie - wipeing away a few tears.

Ahh, Sue, the way my CFS and I handle the energy problem is to relax in
the casino all day, saving my precious little energy for the disco and
other late night activities!

You have to do what is important to "you" and what you are able to do. I
have found that even if I am rested, my body can't deal with a lot of
dancing. I also prefer on port days to do some touring or shopping. Then
it is back to the whirlpool, so I can stay up and enjoy the shows and
the casino.

Guess we will just have to sail together one day and join you and Eileen
in the disco. They lets see what you think of Kevins dancing(grin).

Thanks, I have had it for 15 yrs now. Eileen and I have talked via
email, so I am aware of what we share and her other stuff.

It actually started the day after one of our most memorable

That sounds like such a wonderful vacation, it stinks that it ended that
way. We have not been to Europe yet, but hope that by the time Kevin
retires, I will have more energy. We also started cruising because of my
CFS. My parents wanted to give us a trip for our 25th anniversay, in
those days cooking dinner was an effort for me. As a result we decided
to try cruising and of course have become addicted. Cruising is one of
the very few "good" things that CFS has done for us.

This is one of the many reasons that she has always been,
and will always be, the great Love of my life.

Howie, Eileen and I are both very lucky to have husbands who love us and
stand by us. I know of many people with CFS who's families don't believe
they are really sick. Also many marriages that have fallen apart because
of CFS. You and Kevin are the best!!!!

Charles

the Dungeon was hopping adn I love the atmosphere ther! it is VERY similar to
Explorer of the seas Chamber and I am sure the Dragons Lair is like it. I

I join in giving Howie kudos for yet another public statement of his adoration
of Eileen.

The best thing is, I know it's sincere. Having been privileged to cruise
with Howie and Eileen this summer, I can attest to their devotion to each
other, as well as many other things that make them a totally NEAT-O couple!
They are two of the most intelligent and fascinating conversationalists on
a wide range of subjects you'll ever come across. They are fun loving, as
evidenced by their "disco fever." They are so diverse in their interests--in
a cruise setting, you'll find Howie with his near-obnoxious passion for exercise
and hanging out by the pool (okay, so I admit, he looks great!) and Eileen
with her equally-obsessive craze for the slots (she claims she's an addict,
so I'm not speaking out of turn here). But the most impressive thing about
Howie and Eileen--severally and jointly--is that they are kind, sensitive
and inclusive people (by that I mean, they welcome everyone to be a part
of their fun).

--- I am so thrilled to hear school's out for you, Howie! I know y'all are
counting the days to Bliss on the High Seas, otherwise known to the rest
of us as the cold, winter month of January back in the trenches.
