Crystal Cruises Rewards Early Bookings With New Services

LOS ANGELES, April 13
Instead of relying on just dollar incentives for early bookings,
Crystal Cruises is rewarding its paid-in-full guests with an
innovative new program of services. Effective April 20, the luxury
line is rolling out the most extensive pre-reservation program in the
industry for all guests who pay in full six months in advance and for
penthouse guests after they have paid in full. The value-added
program, available in addition to the existing 3.5% full payment
savings, enables guests to pre-reserve spa and salon appointments,
specialty restaurant dinner reservations, "Crystal Adventure" shore
excursions and the complimentary Creative Learning Institute classes
180 days in advance of sailing.

"While some lines offer the pre-registration of shore excursions and
select programs, Crystal Cruises is the only cruise line -- large or
small -- introducing such a scope of pre-reservation options," says
Thomas Mazloum, senior vice president, hotel operations. "We selected
our most popular signature amenities for this program -- including the
option to pre-reserve the most coveted Berlitz language classes,
Yamaha keyboard lessons and our popular Computer University@Sea
digital photography clinics."

Crystal is launching the web-based program with its European cruises
aboard Crystal Symphony. On April 20, guests who meet the full payment
criteria can pre-reserve services on any Crystal Symphony cruises
departing within 180 days, which includes all of her Mediterranean,
Baltic, Trans- Atlantic and most New England/Canada cruises. Then, in
conjunction with the existing early payment plan, cruises 180 days in
advance of departure will be added on an ongoing basis. The program
will be available online on June 1, for Crystal Serenity and on
September 1, for Crystal Harmony cruises.

Guests who meet the full payment criteria, or their travel agents, can
complete the pre-reservation process at www.crystalcruises.com. A link
to the pre-reservations area will be available, via the sidebar
navigation, on every page of the website. Guests who pre-reserve
online will receive a confirmation receipt via e-mail. Final
confirmation of the reservations will await guests in their staterooms
and suites upon embarkation. Services for which there is a charge,
such as spa, salon and shore excursions, will be added to the guests'
onboard folio. Additional reservations can be arranged on board.

Spa and Salon Services

Crystal Cruises is renowned for its state-of-the art, Feng
Shui-designed spas and fitness centers. In keeping with the line's
commitment to excellence, Crystal Symphony's spa, fitness center and
salon will be completely redesigned just prior to her May 2 cruise.
Indulgent treatments that can now be pre-reserved include hot aroma
stone massages, reflexology, coconut rub and milk ritual wraps, sports
massages, and yin and yang facials with essential oils. Manicures,
pedicures, hair styling and scalp treatments can also be pre-reserved.

Specialty Restaurants

In addition to the acclaimed Crystal Dining Room, the elegant Crystal
ships offer at least two additional open-seating, specialty
restaurants. All of the ships offer a Prego restaurant for Italian
specialties, including an intriguing seasonal menu of signature dishes
from the famed Valentino restaurant in Santa Monica and Las Vegas.
Crystal Symphony also boasts Asian Jade Garden, Crystal Harmony offers
Japanese Kyoto, and Crystal Serenity is distinguished by The Sushi Bar
and Silk Road restaurants that delight guests with cuisine by Nobu
Matsuhisa. For the specialty restaurants only, pre-reservations will
be limited to two reservations per stateroom for each restaurant on a
cruise of 12 days or more, or one reservation per stateroom for each
restaurant on a cruise of 7 to eleven days.

Creative Learning Institute

Since it debuted on Crystal Serenity in July, the line's innovative
and comprehensive Creative Learning Institute has garnered rave
reviews from guests and critics. Through partnerships with Yamaha,
Berlitz, Parsons School of Design, The Cleveland Clinic, Tai Chi
Cultural Center, among others, the line is offering a sophisticated
series of classes. The keyboard classes, language and Computer
University@Sea classes are routinely full on each voyage. With the
full payment plan, guests can now pre-reserve any of these popular
classes in advance.

"Crystal Adventures" ashore

With each cruise itinerary, Crystal Cruises offers dozens of
fascinating cultural tours, as well as new active adventures, which
will be available for pre-reservation. In Europe, for example, Crystal
Symphony guests can pre-book tours of the Hermitage in St. Petersburg,
hot air balloon trips in Stockholm, or kayaking in Copenhagen, among
others.
