South East Asia Itinerary
I'm travelling with some mates in SEA this August. We're flying in on
the 1st, and leaving on September 16th. We're trying to draw up an itinerary and we haven't a clue where to start! We're wondering how much time to spend in each country, and what general route to take. We're thinking roughly 24hours in Bangkok, then headed out into the north of Thailand. Moving clockwise through Laos, Vietnam Cambodia then back to Bangkok by week 5. The last week would consist of 3 days in the south thailand islands, followed by 3 days in Bangkok. This is only very provisional - anyone got any reccomendations, comments or ideas? Thanks! |

I would generally recommend that you not try to see all four countries
in just a month and a half. To give you more accurate recommendations about where to go and where to skip, it would help a lot if you gave us an idea of which of the following you're most interested in: Ancient ruins The Vietnam war Traditional cultures Beaches Trekking Diving Buddhism Cities (and their markets, temples, and street life) |
