Default Flying to fort lauderdale

Hi everyone . We are flying from Halifax to Montreal to Fort Lauderdale soon
.. If anyone has done this route or a similar one can you let me know how
difficult is it to get your Luggage and clear customs . Will it take very
long ? We are supposed to arrive at Pierre Trudeau airport at 7:09 am and
leave again at 8:35 am

Although you will pre-clear U.S. customs and immigration in Montreal, you
should be able to check your luggage through from Halifax all the way. It
isn't a major problem to make the connection. Just remember you have to
have a passport nowadays (Canadians didn't used to require one to travel to
the U.S.)

Thanks Jeff I was wondering if we needed to pick up our luggage in Montreal
.. I couldn't find it documented anywhere.
