Traveling from China

I will be traveling to China in mid december and want to then travel
from Beijing to the mideast. I have been told it's cheaper to get in
touch with a travel agent in china and get them tto book that leg.
However, I have no idea how to find one in china. Can someone suggest
one or is there a international travel agency I can goto for this?

Most things can be booked through CITS or CTS (the official travel
services). They have offices in various places, check the Lonely
Planet for details, if you don't a copy, I'd advise getting one. It's
the bible for those travelling in China.

It's very easy and relatively cheap to arrange travel in China.
