Eastern Caribbean- choppy?

We're going on the RCCL Navigator
Saturday, the 22nd. Noticed that Nassau
and St. Thomas both predicting thunder-
storms (2 of our ports). Does this mean
the waters will be choppy -- does anyone
know how calm Eastern Caribbean is at
this time of year? Thanks for info, Shirley.

It's really pot luck. Thunderstorms usually come and go - I guess they
could be there all day, but usually they develop later in the day and
then dissipate as the air cools into the night. Water could be choppy,
could be smooth. Navigator is a big and modern ship with all the
latest in stabilization technology. Wouldn't worry about a few passing
boomers affecting water conditions...it is what it is.

We watched the weather carefully before a cruise once. The prediction
was for thunderstorms in every port for the entire week, and we were
delighted to instead find beautiful sunny days and calm seas. Since
then we look at the forecasts out of curiosity, but don't believe a word
of it.
