Hey all,

Just back from an 8 day "Romantic's Caribbean" on the new Queen of the
Seas QM2.

Thanks so much for your very nice review. Although I do appreciate the
fact that many are infatuated with this ship, your review strengthens my
resolve to avoid paying premium prices for the privilege of yet another
mass market experience.

It is great that we have so many cruise lines to choose from. This ship
appeals to some people, I am not sure it is a good fit for me. I like a
quiet cruise line, such as Princess, but I also like the activities on
RCI and Carnival. The QM2 is wonderful for older, retired folks. I
hope to be there some day. Not soon, but someday.

Howie, I think you and Eileen also like a ship that is a little more
active.

Subtle understatement is definitely one of your strong points, Becca
