Cruise lines Financial strength
Subject: Cruise lines Financial strength
Travel Guard has been getting very strange as of late. There was a bit about not covering Oceania Cruises due to some papers not being filed. They were filed.. and TG is covering Oceania. Considering the subsidiaries are owned by the corporate parent....how can they not be covered? And Princess is owned by Carnival Corp. Honestly, I wouldn't even consider doing business with Travel Guard with their very strange thinking. Babette |

It is possible for the subsidiaries to go bankrupt without directly impacting the copr. owner. Doesn't happen often, but can. I understand what you are saying.. however... also keep in mind that the parent company of NCL is Star.......so even Travel Guard's list.. doesn't make sense. In looking through my RCL annual report, there are no separate financial statements for Celebrity. Babette |

The underwriters of their policies are rated very strong by Am. M. Best. Travel Guard's products are underwritten by: American International Companies, members of American International Group, Inc. (AIG), which is rated A++, the highest rating available by A.M. Best. |
