Default Bankok-Pattaya transport

Snip........ for the umphtieth time: Mor Chit is closer to the airport, has
buses that take the new motorway to Pattaya and neither the airport bus nor
the pattaya bus gets stuck on Sukhumvit.

Take a taxi to Mor Chit bus station.

Cheers,
Chanchao

You are right about Mo Chit. However, airport bus to Ekemai DOES get
stuck along Sukhumvit.

You are correct of course. I just mentioned the airport bus because
it is a nice "prepackaged solution" that is dificult for someone who
has never been there before to screw up. Not that dealing with a taxi
to Moichi is much more dificult and I agree it is shorter and doesnt
cost much more.

Any recommend? How much from BKK airport to pattaya? n where to book?

If it is not in a hurry, just note that the train (from Bangkok's
railway station not the airport) is much more cheaper that the bus.
The train station is some kilometres from Pattaya center.

Ak... teh bus from Mor Chit terminal is just 97 baht.. Do you really need much
cheaper? Keep in mind that the train takes a VERRRY long time!!! Like 5
hours or so, stops all over the place and is uncomfortable. Also the train
station in Pattaya is way out of town. The bus however is about 2 hours.. I
like trains in general, but the line to Pattaya is not the one that's most
convenient.

Chanchao
