Default Soft Drink Package on RCL

"Rick" :

Someone told me this, but I don't really believe it so I wanted to check
here to see if anyone knew about this. On our last RCL cruise about 8
months ago, we bought drink packages which allowed for unlimited soft
drinks
while on the cruise. They gave us these red Coca Cola containers that you

drink out of which you just presented for refill whenever desired. We were

told at the time that if we brought the containers back on a subsequent
cruise, we could just get free soft drinks again without having to pay for
the package again. Is that right?

Are these soft drinks only the carbonated ones. The reason I ask is on
Carinval the non-carbonated drinks were free and self-served. I sure saw a
lot of kids drink those instead of carbonated drinks and they did not seem
unhappy. For that matter I am usually a 2 liter of Regular Coke a day
drinker and I did not miss the carbonated stuff (that much). Do other lines
serve non-carbonated drinks free?
