Default New seasonal service from New York City to St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada

Another Airline Servicing St. John's 3/17/04 (Brian Madore/Dale Fry)

Continental Airlines will soon be offering a seasonal return flight
between New York and St. John's. America's largest airline and the St.
John's International Airport Authority have agreed to begin the
service between St. John's and New York starting June 1st and running
until September 29th. Airport Authority President Rex Ledrew says the
50 passenger flight could lead to St. John's being named as a
destination for more of Continental's flights that travel to various
points in the US and beyond.

The chair of the capital city's Economic Development Committee, Art
Puddister, says the airport authority should be commended for their
work. Puddister also says it's time the airport and the city got
together and settled their differences over an outstanding tax bill.
The airport authority is disputing the amount of tax.

"America's largest airline"? PR people are known for putting a spin on
things, but this statement is absurd.
