Trying to Get From East Africa to the Seychelles
I'll be in Tanzania with friends and was going to spend a few days at the
end of a safari on Zanzibar. One participant has asked that we consider a few days to a week on the Seychelles instead. However, I can't find if there are any connections from Nairobi or Dar Es Salaam. Any suggestions? Thanks in Advance pjbphd -- Too many spams have forced me to alter my email. Trying to Get From East Africa to the Seychelles
Your questions about your trip have sometimes focused on costs.
The Seychelles - as beautiful as they are - are quite expensive, with few of the budget options available on Zanzibar. Google for rates, maybe go to Travel Advisor, and see what you can learn. http://www.tripadvisor.com |

Trying to Get From East Africa to the Seychelles
I hit the usual web sites, Orbitz, Cheap Tickets, just to get an idea of
flight costs but they won't even recognize the Mahe airport code. I did get an idea from the Kenya Airways site. I figured the Seychelles would be expensive and frankly it's probably worth a separate trip due to the cost/hassle factor. So many places, so little time (and money). So many places, so little time (and money). It depends on your particular itinerary. On my first safari, we had a week in the Seychelles at the end. Because we flew KA from London, it seemed that pricing-wise the safari counted as a stopover. It also helped that the company I used (check my site or email me if you want to know: some people here can be touchy about naming specific companies) is good in the bangs-for-bucks stakes. But with the pound being strong against the dollar, it may not be good for you if you're travelling from the States.
