How can we appease the libertines then who reject fingerprints as
intrusive??? Better profiling...g

Do you actually know what a "libertine" is?

Particularly odd as I can't really imagine a libertine being
particularly bothered about intrusive fingers.

If you want a clean environment go elsewhere.

You mean a country, or another environment? Aren't hospitals, by their
very nature, quite unhealthy places to be?

I was referring to the out placement and lack of supervision of the
custodial staff in most US hospitals. In much of the world there is
much more cleaning going on.

How do you draw such a conclusion, based on what ? jay

Observation. And talking to folks who work in hospitals. FFM

I see.. I saw this program on TV last night. It was about black people
getting stopped just for being black. I guess, in your mind, that
would be ok if they aren't engaged in illegal activity. Note, I am not
disputing the validity of collectng fingerprints, just the assumption
that anything done for safety and security is ok as you have nothing to
worry about if you are not doing anything wrong.... Wrong answer.....
Do you also think that only someone that didn't commit a crime could
never be convicted in court, so they shouldn't worry as they have done
nothing wrong.

Fingerprints are much more reliable ID than multiple
witnesses seeing your face. Proven in courtrooms all the time,
fingerprints are second only to DNA as reliable proof of identity.

What about for maternal twins.........

They can take any data they want on me for all I care. US ADVERTISERS
track the population on an individual level through purchases far more

What is the super market discount card really for anyway...g

I can shop without a super market discount card. I should be able to fly
without telling the government.

Following up to Chad Irby

Let me get this straight. Washington said we're going to invade Iraq
because of their WMDs, we want you to support us.

Nope. And if that's what you think*was* said, it just shows that you
didn't follow any of the arguments at *all* last spring.

While most of Europe tried to make WMDs the be-all and end-all of the
argument, that's not what happened.

We in UK were given *imminent* threat from WMDs as reason for
war. This was false, no other sensible reason has since emerged.

WMD's and their 'imminent' threat were certainly at the heart of the war
justification in the US. You heard little else. FFM
