airport transit at night

Hello, can anybody tell me how to get from the airport to the center of
the city in L.A. arriving in the night? Thank you for any information,

Your options are to drive, take a taxi, take a shuttle, or
use public transportation.

The easiest way is to walk straight outside the arrival hall. You'll see a
traffic island. Watch for the sign for shuttle vans (green, I think).
There'd be a couple of guys there with clipboards. Tell one of them where
you want to go. Then sit and wait for the shuttle. About $20 to $30 US.

If there are three or more of you, it may be cheaper to take a taxi.
