South Africa: What is the max on withdrawing cash at ATM?
Hi there,
I go to Cape Town next week. What is the maximum amount of cash you can withdraw from a cash mashine (ATM)? I have got a VISA+ symbol on my card. Thank you. Regards, Andreas |

In South Africa, though, I'm pretty sure I was able to take the full US$400 that my bank allowed. -- Photos and travelogues from Africa and Southeast Asia: http://www.exile.org |

Usually one thousand Rand is allowed. But sometimes I managed to take 2000
out the ATM... If you need more than just visit more ATM's to get your hands on more cash! Reg. Hans. "Andreas Schmidt" wrote in message ... Hi there, I go to Cape Town next week. On one of my accounts there is a US$4 charge for each foreign transaction. It pays to make your transactions few and large. -- Photos and travelogues from Africa and Southeast Asia: http://www.exile.org |
