New England Road Trip
Ok, I've probably pressed my luck with you kind folks, soliciting so
much input on where to Honeymoon in New England, but if I may... My fiancé has expressed a desire to see as much of New England as possible. Would we be mad to try and squeeze in a visit to Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and wrap it up with Mass. in the course of six days? Is that entirely too much driving? Our goal is to witness the fall foliage and explore some quaint towns in New England. Would traveling southern Maine's coastline (from Rockport south) be better split into two days, or would two days in the Boston area be time well spent? Many, many thanks. -Fleemo |

Fleemo, Just In Case you're not already making use of it, try out a Road-trip planner software to help you determine what is and what's not comfortably and reasonably possible. I myself have used MS Streets & Trips and it's done me extremely well all year long as well as kept me from trying to take on much more than I can handle (driving-wise). |

Sure, If you take I-95, but that hardly counts as a road trip which is what the OP wanted to do. You can certainly do a decent road trip in 6 days, but it WILL involve a lot of driving and stopping. The question is why just 6 days, where are you starting from, and when are you going? Zeyd |
