Default Question: RCCL vs. Carnival for singles?

Okay.. having just gotten back from my first cruise ever,
I'm itching to go on another!
Hubby and I are considering changing our usual beach trip
in August to incorporate a 3 or 4 day cruise.
The only thing is, I noticed on our cruise that most of the
passengers (RCCL to Bahamas, Sovereign, 2/4) were
40+, and there didn't seem to be a lot of singles action
going on. Well, except for my mother, who was celebrating
her 60th birthday and managed to flirt with about five different
older gentlemen on the ship, but that's another story...
Anyway, that was just fine for me, I'm in my 30's, married,
and definitely NOT looking.. but my hubby's cousin usually
goes with us to the beach, and he's 27, single, and looking.
I'm thinking he'd be bored stiff if there are no other singles
in his age group on board.
So my question is, does the range of clientele change throughout
the year, ie, would there be more youngish singles on board
in August than February? Or would we have more luck
on Carnival?

Thanks in advance!

Amy

Most of the Carnival regulars here say that the RCI and Carnival crowds are
very similar.

You might have more luck with a summer sailing, or spring break sailing.

On the other hand... maybe you guys should see if you can find him someone
that he can bring.

Thanks! I'm thinking there would be more singles during the summer,
