Walkie Talkies in Australia?
Is there an Australian equivalent of U.S. Family Radio Servis radios in
Australia? In the U.S. these radio's do not require any license. Could U.S. FRS radios be used in Australia? |

Walkie Talkies in Australia?
Radio spectrum allocation in Australia is similar but different to the USA.
You would need to check with the Department of Communications; spectrum allocation and restrictions would almost certainly be listed on their web site. There is a significant safety issue here; if your walkie talkie use frequencies allocated to emergency services, air traffic control etc you may get into a lot of trouble. Strongly recomnmend you do not use your equipment here without making absolutely sure it is legal. "Papertargets" wrote in message ...
