Default Slow boat to...

Hi

Anyone know of a shipping agent or travel agent in the UK who books
people onto cargo ships for travel to the Far East?

I found one in the US once, but they're not interested in European
travellers.

Take a look at http://wikitravel.org/en/Freighter_travel

You will soon discover that there is only one shipping line offering a
passenger freighter service out of the UK to the Far East.
That is the French line CMA-CGM http://www.cma-cgm.com/
You can either book directly with them or go through one of the agencies
listed in Wiki - who will no doubt be only too happy to slap an extra 25% on
to the cost.

Kindest regards
Gerry

If it could start from Germany (e.g. Hamburg) as well, you should check out
this website:
http://www.zylmann.de/

It's in German, though. Or send them your request by E-Mail (they speak
english).

Frank
