Can't find anything under $1000 from the East Coast, US, Montreal. Any leads?? Don't use Travelocity, Expedia, Priceline for flights to Asia - they'll be more expensive than B&M agencies. Expect to pay $600-700 from New York, maybe $100 more if you want to fly from Boston. Not sure about Montreal. Pick up the sunday New York Times or Boston Globe - their sunday travel sections usually have a lot of ads from discount travel agencies. Look for small box ads with just cities and prices - those are usually the cheapest. Korean Air often has sales on their web site. They're often the cheapest way across the Pacific. I've always gotten good fares from "STA Travel" - they're mostly a student travel agency but they have good fares for non-students also. http://www.statravel.com Hope this helps. |

Not sure about Montreal. I actually got a quote of under $500 from the West coast from Travelocity.
