im visiting the philipppines next week , for the first time. thats were
my fiancees family lives, ill mostly be in urdaneta city and the
batangas , any tips and is it safe, she told me not to worry but ive
never done any major traveling before.

By the time you get an answer here, you will be already in de
Philippines. One word of advice, do not place your bill fold in a rear
pocket. Pick pockets are smooth operators in the Phillipines.
You might arrive with your bill fold intact but minus any money,

Actually your typical pickpocket in the RP is not very smooth at all.
It is sort-of funny to observe their clumsily botched attempts ....
right up until the time one of them succeeds in baking off with your
wallet.

The above is good advice3. If you _must_ carry a wallet in the RP,
cram it down into one of the front pockets of your pants.
