Delta's "Zone Boarding" policy
Just got back from a trans-Atlantic trip, SEA-CVG-AMS; MUC-ATL-SEA
and experienced Delta's bizarre boarding by "zone" practice. The odd part was that I can't figure out the pattern except by random selection. There were five of us traveling together (two couples, one single), who were seated together, yet we were always in different boarding zones, and never were we in a lower zone number than 5. Can anybody explain this? Also, WHY don't airlines just board from the back to the front? Wouldn't that make more sense???? Thanks! |

I've often thought that myself,
Board back to front of course except your 1st class which I guess should go first since they pay the bucks. Back to front seems to make more sense. "Javaman" wrote in message ...
