Useful website for rail travel
Whilst googling around for a journey which I might (or might not!)
take, I came across this webssite. IIRC there was some discussion here about rail journeys to/from Bratislava, and another about rail services in the Baltic Sates. By searching the "Railfan" section of the Slovak Rail site, I found (for example) this map of Bratislava: http://rail.sk/arp/slovakia/ba/zelmapba.htm Index page of the site is: http://www.railfaneurope.net/ Click on the logo, then on "Links" and you get this page - rail maps, timetables - the works. http://www.railfaneurope.net/frameset.html Off to get my anorak out of the cupboard, fill the flask with tea, and make some sandwiches............ :-) ..
