I saw a canteloupe for $20 in a Japanese supermarket; perhaps you could bring a bag full of those. Honestly, between rich countries with open economies, arbitrage is probably best left to the professionals. Once in a while you can do okay, but it's easy to lose your shirt. miguel -- Hit The Road! Prices will be higher for used vintage styles. what other items from the us would sell well in japan and where would use sell such items ? Designer bags (Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, etc.) might be a way to make a bit of money if you really know the market and what styles haven't been launched in Japan yet. Where to sell? At pawn shops I guess. -- Dave Fossett Saitama, Japan |

Unless it was a Levis Silver Tab shirt, in which case you could sell it before you lost it. -- Posted via http://britishexpats.com |
