Japan starts to fingerprint all visitors
Japan is starting today to photograph and fingerprint all foreigners
entering japan, following in the footsteps of the USA. They say it is to prevent terrorism. As with the USA, foreigners have no legal recourse should the japanese government misuse or release their personal identity. Seems odd that a country would still wish to implement such policies at a time when even the USA is slowly awakening to all the mistakes that have been made since january 17 2001.
