Default Seattle

We plan to visit Seattle for 4 days in mid October. This will be a first
visit for us.
What would be the best sights to see on Saturday and Sunday using Seattle as
our base.
We will have a car so we could travel, not more than 100 miles.
Will the weather be low 60's predominantly and would layering be the way to
dress for the weather.
Restaurant suggestions would be appreciated. We all enjoy very good seafood
and would love to eat in the waterfront area.
Thanks

We were there in late July and concentrated mainly in the downtown area.
Pike's Place market is a tourist trap, but worth a day or so. Space Needle,
maybe half a day, if you want to go up. But I wouldn't eat there. We like
the UW area, the campus is beautiful, and lots of interesting restaurants
along University Ave. The new main library downtown is worth of a photo op.

For food, walk around the Belltown area, just north of downtown.
