Default Princess balcony doors

I seem to remember reading about needing a bungee cord to keep the
balcony door from sliding closed. Specifically need to know about
Caribbean Princess. We've always had inside cabins but decided to
splurge a bit for our 25th anniversary celebration. Thanks, Helen

We were on the Grand Princess at Thanksgiving and yes you can get locked out
of your room, on your balcony. Our door closed on its own, locking us out of
the room.Fortunately, we had opened the small door between our balcony and
our friends next door and were to go thru their room, out into the hall and
back into our room. Just glad we had plenty of clothes on.

Not to worry, just back from the Caribbean Princess and doors have a system
that you can set them in any position and hold them there by turning the
handle.
No need for a bungee
