I just got back frm the Carnival cruise to Canada/New England. Your tips are
added on your sail and sign card. I was told that this has become an industry
wide, wordl-wide practice. You can deduct or delete your tips if you want. I
chose to give our waiter an extra $20 the last night, as well as his assistant.
Also, you give the Maiter 'D" a $5 in an envelope as you walk in. His tips are
not added.

By the way, Our waiter told us that he is from the Chech Republic, as well as
his fiancee, who was the assistant Maiter 'D'. He has a degree in Ploitical
Science, and his attorney was an attorney. On the ship, they make more money.
He told me he was going to work 5 more years, and retire. Makes me thankful for
what I have.

Mike
