We've been there two or three times but never did an excursion. On one
trip, we hired a taxi and went up into the mountains. The terrain was
very volcanic (lots of solidified lava fields) and there was a cable car
at the top.

On another trip, we wandered around Santa Cruz, had some coffee, and did
some shopping for unique jewelry.

We took the ships tour up the mountain's and it was well worth the price
very educational,and interesting,the volcano's are very much alive.
They had a restaurant at the top,and over a hole in the volcano they had
a grid and were baking potatoe's from the heat that was coming up.

Sorry I wasn't very specific. We call at Arrecife (Lanzarote) and
